Spinach saute

This is an easy recipe which you can have even for breakfast and  dinner of course. And you can cook this all year round. Perfect dish for happy and healthy eating.

  • 1 large pan


  • 1 kg spinach very well washed and rinsed
  • 1 large onion
  • olive oil extra virgin
  • salt and pepper
  • chilli pepper


  • First, wash and rinse spinach very well and chop in small pieces.Spinach must be dry, this is important
    Then cut your onion julienne style.
  • Put the onion in your pan with olive oil and stir. Until it is fairly cooked. I use a little hot water so that it is not fried but cooked.Add your spinach and stir until it is cooked.
  • Add salt and pepper and serve with a little olive oil and chilli pepper on top.


You can enjoy this dish warm or cold the other day. I enjoy eating this alone or as a side dish to fish or meat.
